N(i)˛ adds Verso as authorized reseller in Croatia

Partnership delivers IT infrastructure and IT service management to support network centric businesses

Montréal (Québec), Canada – March 13th, 2006 – N(i)˛, a provider of IT Infrastructure and IT Services Management (ITiSM) solutions today announced its reseller agreement regarding The N(i)˛ Suite with Mrežne tehnologije VERSO d.o.o., Croatia’s leading provider of customized network solutions and services. The partnership adds the power of configuration management to Verso’s cutting-edge solutions and services portfolio, assisting customers further in developing their business via network and telecommunication technologies.

The N(i)˛ Suite is powered by next-generation Configuration Management Database (CMDB) that provides customers a holistic view of their IT infrastructures, by mapping dependencies with the services they support and how they relate to their business objectives. The N(i)˛ CMDB provides IT organizations a centralized knowledge-base concerning their IT infrastructures, services, and applications that results in enhanced analysis capabilities, namely in the areas of service management and change management. Through a dashboard-like interface complete with contextual views, it provides an accurate representation of the IT environment, facilitating problem resolution and impact assessment of changes.

The N(i)˛ CMDB empowers all of N(i)˛’s four business applications that share built-in processes and workflow. They include Change Management, Infrastructure Management, Service Management and Asset Management. Together they work to facilitate the alignment of both internal and external IT resources by sharing—and contributing to—a single source of information. In addition to the N(i)˛ business applications, the CMDB efficiently integrates to 3rd party vendor products. Built on an object data model and operability standards, the N(i)˛ CMDB offers maximum ease of integration to 3rd party IT management solutions such as fault management and performance management.

“Today’s businesses are turning to telecommunications technologies such as IP telephony to gain a competitive edge in the local and global markets. The N(i)˛ Suite increments the investment on these network infrastructures by allowing them to efficiently and securely implement changes, providing the flexibility required to support evolving business priorities”, says Mladen Tabak, Director of Verso. “The N(i)˛ Suite offers the visibility to efficiently manage IT infrastructures and services on a daily basis as well to plan for future developments”, adds Tabak.

“Verso has demonstrated strong vision in leveraging emerging technologies for the benefit of their customers, combined with a unique capacity to collaboratively build with them the network infrastructures that supports their business development”, says Joseph Hatchuel, CEO of N(i)˛. “Verso represents a strategic partner in the growth of our channel as well as in the future development of our technology”, adds Hatchuel.
